ઝાલાવંશ


માં શક્તિ એ એક જ દિવસમાં ગુજરાતમાં કુલ 2300 જગ્યાએ તોરણ બાંધ્યા હતા. જેમાં સૌથી પહેલું તોરણ પાટડીમાં બાંધ્યું હતું. રાજા કરણદેવને આપેલા વચન મુજબ માં શક્તિએ બાબરા ભૂતને વશ કરવા માટે સ્વંય અવતાર લીધો હતો અને લોકોને તેનાં ત્રાસમાંથી છોડાવ્યા હતા...


પ્રાચીન લોકવાયકા મુજબ પાટણના રાજા કરણદેવને બાબરા ભૂતનો ખૂબ જ ત્રાસ હતો. રાજા હરપાળદેવ અને શકિત માતાએ પાટણના રાજાને બાબરા ભૂતના ત્રાસથી બચાવીને તેને વશ કર્યો હતો. રાજા કરણદેવે આપેલા વચન મુજબ હરપાળદેવ અને શકિત માતાએ એક દિવસમાં ૨૩૦૦ ગામો ને તોરણ બાંધ્યા હતા. જેમાં પહેલુ તોરણ પાટડીના ટોડલે બાંધ્યુ હતુ. અને દિવસ ઉગતા પહેલા છેલ્લુ તોરણ દીઘડીયા ગામે બાંધ્યુ હતુ. આમ તેઓ ૨૩૦૦ ગામોના ધણી કહેવાયા...


માં શકિતદેવીએ પ્રતાપસિંહ સોલંકીની અખૂટ શકિત ધરાવતી, નીડર અને પ્રતીભાવંતી પુત્રી હતી. એક શકિતશાળી સ્ત્રી આપબળે સંસારની જગદંબા બની શકે છે એનું એક સચોટ ઉદાહરણ આ શકિતદેવી હતા. ઇ.સ. ૧૦૯૦માં મહાક્રમી હરપાળદેવે પાટડીમાં ઝાલાવંશની સ્થાપના કરી હતી. અને હરપાળદેવ અને શકિતદેવીએ બે મહાશકિતશાળી આત્માઓનું પાટડીની ભૂમિ પર મિલન થયુ હતુ...પાટણમાં રાજા કરણ સોલંકીનું રાજ હતું તે સમયે તેમના ભાયાત પ્રતાપસિંહના ઘરે શક્તિદેવીએ અવતાર લીધેલો. શક્તિદેવીનું બાળપણનું નામ બિસંતીદેવી હતું. તે મોટા થતા તેમના માગા આવવા લાગ્યા. પરંતુ બિસંતીદેવી જોવા આવનાર મહેમાનોને વાઘ કે સિંહનું સ્વરૂપ ધારણ કરીને ભગાડી દેતા હતા. આથી તેમના માતાપિતાને એમના લગ્નની ચિંતા સતાવતી હતી. શક્તિએ તેમના બાપુને આશ્વવત કર્યા કે તે નિશ્ચિંત રહે સમય આવ્યે તે તેમને સામેથી જણાવશે...


અહીં રાજા કરણને બાબરા ભૂતનો ભારે ત્રાસ હતો. બાબારો રાજા કરણ અને રાણી ફૂલાંદેને ભેગા જ નહોતો થવા દેતો.  હરપાળદેવ  રાજા કરણનું દુખ જાણીને તેમને વચન આપે છે કે તે આ દુખમાંથી મુક્ત કરાવશે. નક્કી થયા મુજબ તે રાતે રાજા કરણ રાણીવાસમાં ગયો કે તરત જ બાબરાએ તેમને બાંધીને એકબાજુ મુખી દીધા. હરપાળદેવ બાબરાને લલકાર્યો અને તેની સાથે મલ્લયુદ્ધ કર્યું...


મલ્લયુદ્ધમાં બાબરો અને હરપાળદેવ ની લડાઈ બરાબર જામી હતી, ત્યારે માં શક્તિ અહીં આવીને હરપાળદેવ ને કાનમાં કહી ગયા કે તમારા સ્વરૂપને ઓળખો અને બાબરાની ચોટલી પકડી લો. હરપાળદેવ બાબરાની ચોટી કાપી લેતા બાબરો હરપાલના વશમાં થઈ ગયો. તે કરગરવા લાગ્યો. અહીં હરપાળદેવ બાબરા પાસે એક વચન માગ્યુ કે ક્યારેય તેમના વંશજને કોઈ ભૂત કે પ્રેત ક્યારેય નહીં નડે. બાબરો સહમત થાય છે અને જ્યારે હરપાલ બોલાવે ત્યારે હાજર થવાનું વચન આપે છે...


બાદમાં માં શકિત અને હરપાળદેવ ના લગ્ન થાય છે. માં શક્તિ અને હરપાળદેવ ના મિલન સાથે જ એ વિસ્તારમાંથી ભૂત-પ્રેત કાયમ માટે હટી જાય છે. બાદમાં હરપાળદેવ પાટડીનો રાજા બને છે. અને અહીં માં શક્તિ પહેલું તોરણ બાંધે છે. આ ગામોમાં ક્યારે પણ ભૂત-પ્રેતનો ઓછાયો પણ નહીં ઉતરે એવા બાબરાના વચન પ્રમાણે માં શક્તિ અને હરપાળદેવ  2300 ગામના તોરણ બાંધે છે. ત્યાર બાદ શક્તિ માં જગદંબા તરીકે ઓળખાઈ અને ઝાલા કુળના દરબારોમાં માં કુળદેવી તરીકે પૂજાય છે...


માં શકિતના પ્રાગટય દિન નિમિત્તે ઝાલા કૂળના દરબારો દ્વારા માથે કેસરી સાફો અને હાથમાં તલવાર દ્વારા શકિત માતાએ જે ટોડલે પ્રથમ તોરણ બાંધ્યુ હતુ તે ટોડલે તોરણ બાંધી આસ્થાભેર ઉજવણી કરે છે. પાટડી રાજવી પરિવારના યુવરાજ અન્નકૂટનું આયોજન થાય છે...


આ સાથે પાટડીમાં નવચંડી હવન, અન્નકૂટ અને શોભાયાત્રાનું આયોજન પણ થાય છે. દર વર્ષે અહીં શકિતમાતાના મંદિરના દર્શન માટે આજે હેકડેઠેઠ માનવ મહેરામણ ઊમટે છે.

born 3rd March 1923, member of the Standing Committee of the Chamber of Princes from 1945 to 1947, and in 1945 was the prime mover of the Saurashtra States Confederation Scheme which he carried in the meeting of the States-General in 1946. On 10 May 1947 he became the first Ruler in Western India to join the Constituent Assembly of India, to which he was nominated in 1948. On the establishment of the United State of Kathiawar (Saurashtra) in 1948, he was installed as Uprajpramukh, and he served as Acting Rajpramukh during the absences of the Rajpramukh. In 1952 he resigned as Uprajpramukh and entered Christ Church, Oxford, where he read philosophy for six years. He also studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing. After returning to India from Oxford, Meghrâjjî was President of the Jodhpur Regency Council from 1965 to 1968. In 1967 he was elected to the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from the Dhragadhra Constituency. He resigned the same year on his election to the Fourth Lok Sabha as MP for Jhalava, which seat he held until 1970. He was the main Opposition speaker against allowing Parliament the power to abridge fundamental Constitutional rights, and introduced his own Bill for allowing a plebiscite when the question of abridgement arose. From 1967 to 1971 he was the Intendant General of the Concord of Princes which was set up to safeguard the rights and privileges of the Princes granted under the Indian Constitution, he led the opposition to the abrogation of the Rulers’ covenanted rights and Constitutional guarantees. Raj Sahib RAIDHARJI VAGHOJI 1486/1499, married (amongst others), Rani Asade Sahiba of
Muli, and had issue.

Raj Sahib AJOJI RAIDHARJI [Raj Rana AJJA SINGH] of
Bari-Sadri], with his younger brother, he was dispossessed in an intrigue by their uncle and their younger brother Ranoji Raidharji was annointed, they then left for employment with the then Maharana of Mewar (probably Udaisingh) and one of their descendants was Jhala Mansingh, who famously wore the armour/chainmail of Maharana Pratap Singh, during the battle of Haldighati in 1576. His descendants were given the Jagir of Bari Sadri, and the Jagirdar of Bari Sadri, at the durbar of the Maharanas of Mewar took the highest seat of prominence right next to the Maharana himself. Even above that of the Yuvaraj. Of the eight most important Thikanas of Udaipur, the three most important are held by Jhalas, namely Gogunda, Kunadi and Narewar (Delwara). Mokwana is the original family name but subsequent to the first descendants of Harpal Dev, they have been known as Jhalas as well.
